Back to 1977The earliest season we've rebuilt so far
Proof of concept: built on Hudson Valley LaxBanner Years grew out of Hudson Valley Lax, a daily Instagram series that brings back Section 1 and Section 9 lacrosse seasons straight from the old sports pages. Every graphic style on this site was made and posted there first, and our first football package was built as a pilot for Dobbs Ferry.
Every sport. Every era. If the paper covered it, we bring it back.
The title run, the record night, the All-County list on the fridge. If your local paper wrote it up, we can rebuild it: boys and girls, varsity and JV, 1950s to last season. Texas football leads the way, and every sport on the sports page is fair game. Pick a sport below and tap any piece to see it bigger.

THE HUSKERS STRIKE BACK
The Yorktown Cornhuskers have built an empire. Unbeaten in Section 1, they crushed Mamaroneck 18-5 for the crown.
Their quest led them to Hofstra to face the mighty WARD MELVILLE PATRIOTS, the No. 1 team in the state and ruler of Long Island.
After three overtimes, the Huskers prevailed 10-9, becoming the first Section 1 team ever to reach the state final....

For booster clubs
A fundraiser built on your history
Most programs run Banner Years through the booster club, so it costs the department nothing. Packages can pay for themselves three ways.
01
Posters you resell
We design limited-run posters of your title teams, legends and big nights. Your merch table or online store sells them, and the club keeps the margin.
02
Sponsor-backed series
A weekly “This Week in [Mascot] History” post or video, each one presented by a local business. Sponsor fees can cover the package and then some.
03
Event-night packages
Hall-of-fame, anniversary and senior nights get a scoreboard tribute video, inductee posters and commemorative prints families can buy.

Put the local BBQ joint on the scoreboard of history
The pizza place, the BBQ joint and the corner bar already back your program. A “presented by” credit on a history series gives them something fans actually look at every week. That turns a sponsor ask into a sponsor yes.

Business featured in a custom era-style sponsor slide
Texas football runs on tradition: state titles, district rivalries, legendary coaches and stadiums that hold a whole town. We build history packages for programs that want those eras on the scoreboard, in the stands and all over social.

The clipping is where it starts. We pull the original coverage of your biggest games, then rebuild the night visually with our own design, stat callouts and captions in your colors: the headline, the score, the names, the photo. One look and you're back in the bleachers.

Our premium tier covers decades of history in one package: a tribute video for the scoreboard, inductee movie posters to present on the field, commemorative prints and a sponsor-ready social carousel.
Two places. First, the hometown newspaper archive: the game stories, box scores, photos and All-County lists that covered your program when it happened. Second, your community: team and family photos, game programs, booster records, home video and Hudl film. Original newspaper content is credited to its publisher.
Who usually pays for it?
Most programs run it through the booster club, so it costs the athletic department nothing. Many clubs cover it with a presenting sponsor plus poster or print sales.
Can we resell posters and prints?
Yes. Limited-run posters and framed prints are built for booster merch tables and online stores, and your club keeps the margin. We quote print runs per order so you know your margin up front.
What about school logos and athlete permissions?
We use school logos and marks only with the school's permission. We get releases for featured athletes and parent or guardian consent for minors, and we follow your district's media policy.
Which sports do you cover?
Every sport, every era. If the paper wrote about it, we can bring it back. That means football, basketball, baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer, hockey, wrestling, track and field, cross country, volleyball, swimming and diving, tennis, golf, field hockey, cheer and dance, rowing and water polo, for boys' and girls' programs alike. Texas high school football is our home base, but if your sport made the sports page, we can rebuild it.
How long does it take?
We can time delivery to your date, whether it's senior night, a playoff run, the banquet or a hall-of-fame night. Tell us your date when you request a quote and we'll confirm the timeline.
Is the free sample really free?
Yes. Send one photo and a favorite stat or story, and we'll make you a sample slide. No obligation.
